Footballer Gerard Pique, split from superstar girlfriend Shakira?

Shakira and her Barcelona footballer boyfriend, Gerard Pique, have reportedly split after six years together as Cotilleo sources claim Colombian music star Shakira spearheaded the split.



Sources claim that 40-year-old Shakira, who was last seen with the 30-year-old footballer in June at the wedding of Gerard’s former Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi to his childhood sweetheart Antonella Roccuzzo, ‘could no longer cope with the situation.’

The report follows weeks of speculation about the relationship status of the couple who have 2 young sons , in Colombian press.
